TRIBAL TATTOOS

Tribal tattoos are a style rooted in indigenous cultures worldwide, using thick, bold black lines and geometric patterns to create high-contrast designs that symbolize strength, heritage, protection, and rites of passage. Popular variations include Polynesian styles with curved motifs like sharks or waves for large body coverage; Maori 'moko' featuring spiral and facial elements for personalization; Samoan patterns emphasizing continuity and status; and Native American-inspired geometrics for spiritual significance.

I have developed my own personal style of tribal, inspired by the aforementioned styles. I felt there was a need to create something new, an American tribal style, that serves our culture and helps us express our pluralistic religious and mythological beliefs.
